Leaked: HTC One M8 Mini

The HTC One M8 has just been launched and we are already hearing rumors regarding the One M8 Mini. An unnamed source working for a UK retailer told 3g.co.uk that the HTC One M8 Mini will be launched sometime in May. Since the source is anonymous, it’s hard to say how reliable this information is. But with rumors about the device emerging the very same day as the HTC One M8 was launched, its believable that the Mini could be here that soon.

In a picture leaked to Phonearena.com, the plastic antenna covers running around the One Mini’s body are shown in a bright accent color. Suggesting that HTC will make these more of a feature this time around. However, the bright accents don’t appear in @evleaks picture, so it’s still hazy if it’ll be the case.

It has been reported that the HTC One M8 Mini is going to retain the same design philosophy as its elder sibling the HTC One M8, hence the all-aluminum design. There is also a mention of a 4.5” Screen size retaining the 720p resolution which would put it at a lower pixel density than its predecessor the One Mini. HTC One M8 Mini will have a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP camera on the front. The processor is going to be a quad core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 1 GB of Ram and 16 GB Internal memory. A micro SD slot also might be included. The Operating System would be Android 4.4 kitkat with HTC’s sense 6 UI. A leaked picture published by @evleaks on Twitter suggests the device’s shape will be very similar to the One M8.
